It's time for a triple birthday party!!! (Third cake coming soon.)
First up, Tide. He ages gracefully.
He is literally a gender-swapped clone of his mother. Which, apparently, is insanely adorable.
Next up is Cadydid. She doesn't feel sad about aging - she just doesn't feel much of anything at all.
So, Tiberius feels happy for her.
In a bright flash of light, it's over.
Tiberius is last.
Ah, yes, Tiberius' trademark hairstyle.
I fixed it.
Sweets for the sweet.
Tide learns about flies.
Mother-daughter fishing trip.
Melarkey looks distressed, as usual.
Strangely, her mother seems completely at ease - Melarkey isn't sure she's seen that before.
Tiberius continues to be a stay-at-home dad.
During dinner, Melarkey chokes on a piece of leftover birthday cake.
Cadydid doesn't even flinch.
Wanting to get out of the house for a bit, Tiberius takes Tide to the park.
Cadydid tries helps Melarkey with her homework, but with a mother who doesn't speak much, Melarkey sort of feels like she's working by herself.
Tide messes around at the play table.
Melarkey joins him.
A few more pictures of the youngest kid being cute.
Melarkey enjoys the view from her perch. It's too bad she'll have to share this room with her sister. Though Sincerity hasn't shown any signs of her evil trait yet, Melarkey just knows she's going to be trouble.
Out in the hall, Tiberius finishes work on his sixth book, a drama novel aptly titled Due Drama, and immediately starts another, this time a humor novel he's decided to call Death by Polkadotted Microwave, loosely based off the time his wife went into labor while making herself a microwave meal.
He takes a short break to celebrate Sincerity's birthday!
I just thought Sincerity looked pretty in this shot idk
She keeps the side pigtail when she ages up. It's deceptively cute.
Boring, everyday activities the Soapberry family partakes in.
"You know," Tiberius says one night over a dinner of leftover birthday cake, "I think things turned out pretty nice for us. Don't you?"
He isn't really expecting a response. Cadydid speaks up softly.
"...Yeah."
