Tide and Anlah made proper fools of themselves at prom. Due to the heating system being broken, it was chilly in the building - they kept their outerwear on.
Dennis, now Melarkey's fiance, has been hanging around the house a lot. Cadydid tries to respect her daughter's life choices.
Tiberius starts work on his sixteenth book, Detective Melarkey and the Mystery in the Fog. She may be all grown up and making questionable relationship decisions, but she'll always be his little girl, immortalized in writing.
In another room, Melarkey begins her second book - a follow-up to her first nonfiction help book, titled The Second Round: My Relationship Restoration.
Since it's too cold to fish for long periods of time, Cadydid ice skates to get the solitude she needs. She's found that she can avoid anyone if she skates fast enough.
Tide's birthday!
Lookin' good.
Dennis' and Melarkey's snowsim is melting. Thankfully, their relationship is still intact.
A young adult Anlah stops by the Soapberry house. She is a queen.
Tide looks like a dork in his graduation robes, but he's too happy that she's there to care.
"Once you're changed, let's go out."
"Once you're changed, let's go out."
They end up at the park, just as the sun is setting. Anlah wants to talk about their "future together".
Back at the house, Cadydid has her birthday. The rest of the present family don't appear particularly enthused.
Aging up glitches her through the wall and into the backyard. It freaks her out a little.
Meanwhile, things aren't going so hot for the couple of the hour. Seems Anlah is refusing Tide's advances, for some reason.
It starts raining. Tide decides to go big or go home.
"I thought you were never going to propose!" Anlah confesses. "I was just nervous. I'm sorry, babe."
"I mean, I've only been a young adult for a couple of hours," Tide points out.
"I mean, I've only been a young adult for a couple of hours," Tide points out.
The couple decides to elope. Tide calls to let his parents know.
"Why is the phone ringing at two in the morning?"
So Tide and Anlah elope, and Melarkey continues cooking healthy.
She realizes her little brother has gotten married before her. She needs to get on that.
Tiberius' and Cadydid's romance is still going strong. <3
Wedding time! Of course, Clark Sauer, the repairman, is invited. Melarkey comments on his interesting choice of formal wear.
Kerra Allocco is also invited, along with Tide, Anlah, and her older sister, Taleah Haslaskla.
Everyone mills around in the foyer/kitchen, catching up with old friends and family members and all that.
Except for Clark. He looks for food.

The groom shows up as well, which is good!
Dennis jumps right in by flirting with the mother of the bride. Cadydid is so shocked she makes an accurate facial expression. Tide, who is chatting with Melarkey right next to the scene, is not impressed.
Cadydid gives him a what-for. Dennis defensively insists that he was just being nice. Y'know, since they're almost family and all.
Across the room, Taleah follows Dennis' lead and presents Tiberius with a bouquet of roses. Tiberius looks more inconvenienced than anything else.
Behind him, Anlah forces a smile. Sis what are you doing this is so embarrassing STOP

Anyway, let's get this wedding started!
Tiberius is moved by the lovely couple.
Cadydid is still traumatized from earlier.
Tide can't believe his sister is still marrying this guy.
Cadydid decides that, whatever, she's just gonna enjoy the festivities.
Clark Sauer realizes that his Super Secret Love for Melarkey will always remain unrequited. What do you mean, I've never mentioned this plot point before?
There's nothing I can do for her now, Tide thinks woefully.
Quick bring in the cake to improve the mood!
Melarkey is so hyped to be married. Rings are pretty!
Clark realizes this is his last chance to tell Melarkey his True Feelings. He stumbles over his words for a good two minutes, and in the end manages nothing but a mediocre comment on her appearance. Sucks to suck, dude.
Taleah tries again, this time with the newlywed groom. At first, he adamantly rejects her...
...Then immediately tries to flirt with her.
"You missed your chance," Taleah huffs, before stomping away. The interaction doesn't go unnoticed by Clark. Why does Melarkey have to end up with him? If only he had made his move sooner...
OH WELL.

OH WELL.
The interaction doesn't go unnoticed by many others, as well. Namely, the bride's entire family. What a way to start off married life.
While the drama continues on outside, Anlah goes inside and watches the gardening channel.
"Stop looking at me like that, man," says Dennis.
"I'll look at you however I want to, brother-in-law." Tide doesn't mess around when it comes to his sister.

Slight alterations to Melarkey's room.
How every girl dreams of spending her wedding night.
Finally, the couple pay attention to each other.
"I'm out," decides Anlah.
"I'm out," decides Anlah.
Tide stays a bit longer to finish a painting he'd left behind.
Cadydid tries to console herself with a snow cone. No one else used the machine, anyway.
But not even a cherry snow cone can improve her mood.
This was the worst wedding party ever.
