After getting word of his father's death, Tide invites Cadydid out for some mother-son bonding time, to make sure she's doing alright. He takes her swimming. In the middle of fall. But y'know, whatever.
Fantasia, destroyer of worlds.
Melarkey continues to smash out books, although none of them seem to be hitting the same renown as her father's work. It's frustrated, but at least she has a niche audience who enjoys her works - mostly consisting of middle-aged housewives and teenage girls.
A squirrel starts hanging out in the backyard.
Now that she's feeling better, Cadydid decides to host a Feast Party at the end of Fall. She's come to terms with the fact that she won't live forever, either, and wants to make happy memories for others to remember her by.
People both invited and not-invited (looking at you, Beau Andrews) arrive, bringing an assortment of dishes in an assortment of quality.
Obligatory close-up of Kerra Allocco, Dennis' ever-beautiful sister. She's been in a long-term relationship with Malcolm Landgraab for a while now, though both have made it clear they have no intentions of getting married.
Tide and Anlah, who is pregnant with a second son, show up with "invisible" plates of food, a claim that fools no one.
They end up with quite a nice spread. Of course, Melarkey had to include her "indie" salad alternative for herself and Dennis.
Tide sits alone with his lobster thermadore in the living room.
And Beau is the only one who sits at the second table.
But everyone enjoys themselves nonetheless!
Once the party is over, Dennis goes out into the backyard and catches the aforementioned squirrel. He is named Stanley.
Hopefully Fantasia won't eat him.
Bennet is still a toddler, doing toddler things. For example, more kitchen floor reading with Grandma.
The ice cream truck still makes its rounds, even in Fall, so Dennis takes advantage.
Melarkey runs into Tide at the park.
He's still worried about mom, and Melarkey as well. He knows Tiberius' death was harder on them, still living in the house and all. Melarkey tells him he worries too much, and that's bad for his skin.

She doesn't tell him that, half the time, Tiberius is still around.
And Cadydid is doing fine.
Anlah and Tide have their second son, Magnus, and Cadydid pays a visit to meet him.
"Tide wanted to name him Leslie," Anlah tells her. "Can you believe him?"

Magnus Soapberry.
Back at the legacy house, it's Bennet's birthday!
A very... distinct face.
Bennet is an immediately curious child, plucking books off the shelf before she even has a slice of birthday cake. She tells her parents and grandmother, "I want to explore everything."
To start her off, she gets an ant farm for her birthday.
//
Post Send: Magnus' original name was actually Leslie. I try not to get too involved in the other townie's lives, but the baby was a boy, so it had to go.
No offense to any boys named Leslie.
