Who is this strange new sim? And where did the tiny sim go?
This mystery must be investigated furth-- the red dot!!
Pancakes made from scratch, using apples picked fresh from the wild.
"Please don't tell me you snuck into someone's orchard and stole their fruit," Dennis says from the dining table.

Bennet is indoctrinated into her family's health-conscious eating habits. It isn't too difficult - it's not like she knows any other way to eat - but she does complain on occasion, such as when a classmate brings in snacks for the class, and a note from Melarkey to Bennet's teacher forbids her from eating them.
"Just let the poor kid eat what she wants," Dennis tells his wife in exasperation.
"I can't hear you over our daughter's HIGHER LIFE EXPECTANCY," is Melarkey's response.

Aside from that, Bennet's childhood is fairly normal. Pet cat, two parents, blocks - nothing abnormal here.
But the expressions she makes sometimes...
Excluding the occasional tiff over trivial things, Melarkey and Dennis' relationship seems to be holding together.
School.
Out on the town is J. J. Haslaskla, Anlah's younger brother, and his wife, who is nearly double his age. The town is loaded with strange, entangled family trees, and chances are J. J. dated this woman's daughter when he was in high school or something.
But, to each their own. Melarkey thinks she'll stick with Dennis.
Cadydid still misses Tiberius sometimes.
Once Melarkey and Dennis head home, Cadydid skates by herself, just like she used to.
Even the cat couple makes her heart ache.
Even the cat couple makes her heart ache.
Yikes.
Since she doesn't have any siblings of her own, Bennet settles for the next best thing - cousins. She and Ignacio are in the same class, and bonded over their classmates mistaking them for twins. Which is discriminatory, Bennet insists, but Ignacio doesn't really seem to care.
"Hey there, little buddy."
Ignacio always bikes home in the snow.
"He's crazy," Bennet grumbles, fondly.

Snow day!
Penguin?
The adults make an igloo for Bennet.
Meanwhile, Bennet marvels at how tiny her snow angel is compared to the others.
Melarkey teaches Bennet how to build a snowsim.
"Your Uncle Tide and I used to do this on snow days," Melarkey says.
"You guys were that young once, too? That's weird."

"You guys were that young once, too? That's weird."
For shame, you two.
Forced to run back to the house in their pajamas. Good.
After a full day, Melarkey makes the entire family some nice, hot spaghetti.
The weather outside is frightful,
but the fire is so delightful
And since we have no place to go,
let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
but the fire is so delightful
And since we have no place to go,
let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Post Send: I'm pretty sure I've failed to mention sim traits/favorites/etc., but if you're curious then I keep track of them on the "Heir Bios" page! And each generation's roles can be viewed on the "About" page for this challenge, but there ARE spoilers, so be warned, if you prefer not to know for the sake of surprise or whatever.
Thank you so much for reading!
