The Soapberrys buy a fish tank, but don't put anything in it.
It's Melarkey's first birthday!
Cadydid does her best to show enthusiasm, in spite of her personality.
Melarkey gets a mouthful of green elf hair while trying to blow out the birthday candle.
Minus an explosion of freckles, she looks just like her mom.
It should also be mentioned that she is clumsy and absent-minded. A typical toddler.

For some reason, Melarkey seems mildly frightened by her mother's wide-eyed smile. Maybe even she can tell how forced Cadydid's expressiveness is.
It's the tickle monster!
Romance - gross.
Melarkey's high chair is placed in the very back corner of the kitchen, by the dining table. Unlike her mother, the toddler is very expressive - usually appearing distressed for one reason or another.

Between all his new duties as a father, Tiberius tries his hand at writing a humor novel. At first, he simply names the document after an integral part of the plot - bees. He includes a question mark, because he's still trying to think of a proper title. Eventually, he forgets about it entirely, and the publisher never asks about it.
"I feel strange today," Cadydid notes.
She soon discovers why.
Cadydid works on teaching Melarkey to talk. Tiberius claims to be wrapped up in his writing, so she spends more days at home.
An update on Tiberius' progress on Bees?
Get it, girl.
When Tiberius inquires about her growing belly, Cadydid realizes she forgot to tell him about the pregnancy. It's shocking how long she can go without verbal communication.
Of course, he's thrilled.
Of course, he's thrilled.
He gives her a congratulatory pat on the shoulder. "Good job, team."
Time skip to labor, because apparently nothing else interesting happened.
A few sim-hours later, Sincerity Soapberry is welcomed into the family. She is clumsy, like Melarkey, but also evil, unlike Melarkey.
Her first act of villainy is glitching up the house a second time.
