"We're poor," Tiberius reminds her gently.
On the way, he senses he's being watched.
This is a custom sim whose name I forgot. I made all the townies myself. :D
"What is it, sweetheart?"
"Exactly."
Sudsy hands. She may be pregnant, but Cadydid doesn't let that stop her from doing her "job". Besides, they're poor, and with a baby on the way can't afford to lose her half of the income. She never smiles more than when she's robbing a body of water of its life forms. Dinner. Cadydid was craving ice cream. "You know, what I could really go for is a tri-tip steak," she comments. "We're poor," Tiberius reminds her gently. Pregnancy mood swings take the fun out of everything. Tiberius tries to get rid of writer's block by playing games on his computer, then manages to break it. Cadydid is super hungry. Oh, and the baby's coming. Cadydid returns from the hospital with her new daughter, Melarkey, and immediately eyes up the kitchen for food. It's a baby! Tiberius is in awe. Since he's the stay-at-home parent, what with Cadydid commuting to the ocean every day, Tiberius heads down to the library, hoping to better concentrate on his work there. On the way, he senses he's being watched. This is a custom sim whose name I forgot. I made all the townies myself. :D It is here he begins his third novel, this time of the drama genre, titled Forget-Me-Not. Cadydid stays at home with Melarkey, and uses his desk as a reading spot. "Tiberius, I'm worried about our baby," Cadydid confesses after dinner one night. "What is it, sweetheart?" Cadydid sighs. "It's just..." "Her hair... is glitching." "She doesn't have hair," Tiberius protests. "Exactly." A full-screen shot of the Soapberry house. As much as Cadydid and Tiberius try to find a cure, Melarkey's glitch continues to plague their home. Tiberius decides that all they can do is hope she grows out of it. Still, the few moments of clarity are happy ones. Oh dear. "Sleep well, little one." She'll try. The backyard seems to be a safe place to hide from the glitch. It may look like he's pointing at the neighbor's house, but they're actually enjoying the stars. The beach is also a safe haven, much to Cadydid's relief. Unfortunately for Tiberius, parents who work from home don't need babysitters.

Yikes, glitches >.< I remember I had a glitch where the baby's arms were half white (as in paper white) or dark brown (like leather colour) and it was terrifying o_O

I feel ya, glitches are always a pain. :P And it seems like baby sims are the most likely to get glitches, especially CC-related ones. Thank you for reading! ^_^

Hehe, I finally got around to it just a few weeks ago when my game started crashing. Not sure if it even fixed the problem, but at least I have more manageable CC now. ^_^
