Melarkey stares up at the modern-chic building. She won't admit it, but she's just a tad jealous of her brother's house.
"I would never buy something like that for my son," Anlah says insistently.
Melarkey glances back over at her child playing obliviously on the living room floor. 'I'll just make sure she doesn't take it home."
"It's a shame about the weather," Melarkey notes. Tide shrugs.
"The pool party was Anlah's idea. I'm happy enough seeing you and Mom and Dad again."
Tide sighs. "I never liked the guy, Melarkey, not after what he did to you."
"It was a long time ago," Melarkey interrupts defensively. "He's... better, now."
"I don't want to upset you," Tide says quickly, then smiles. "And things are working out for you two, yeah? In the end, as long as you're happy, so am I."
Melarkey thinks that Tide is a wonderful brother.

Post Send: I'm trying to give my legacy a bit more plot, in order to develop characters and such, but I have a hard time balancing the silly nature of sims with more serious relationships and events. It usually leaves me feeling ridiculous for writing anything semi-dramatic, because, y'know... it's sims.
But, I hope it's enjoyable to some people, in the way that it's not too plot-heavy. I'll try to keep it light, without being boring!
