"Fatherhood comes with a whole new set of responsibilities," Tiberius warns. "Are you sure you can handle it?"
"Are you trying to get rid of me?" Dennis is mildly offended by the idea.
"We just want to make sure Melarkey can count on you to be there," Cadydid chimes in quietly.
"Look," Dennis shoots her a glare; "I know I made some mistakes when I was younger, but Melarkey and I are married now. And we're happy. I'm not going anywhere."
Cadydid contemplates bringing up the wedding incident, but in the end, only nods.
"Wait, you have a baby?" is Kerra's only response.
The fish are more interesting, anyway.
Tiberius tells Cadydid that he loves her. She smiles down at her plate and nods.
